Your editorial style, shared with your team

Open Editorial workspace to organize shows, search old recordings and review cuts with your team. A show has its own style inside a workspace. Use separate workspaces when clients need separate access: a show is an organizational label, not a security boundary.

Teach choices, not clicks

Keep tells Peakframe that a moment fits. After skipping, choose an optional reason. Wrong topic is a negative subject example; poor framing, missing context and duplicates do not teach the system to dislike that topic. Choosing a source passage manually adds a positive example of something discovery missed. Restoring a decision retracts its previous label.

The editor saves complete revisions rather than every mouse movement. Choose This clip only, Learning this show’s taste or Learning my personal preferences before saving. Personal evidence does not train the shared style. Your latest eligible decision counts once per moment. Unreviewed suggestions never count as dislikes.

Understand what is learned

The current ranker compares topic words in reviewed examples and typical kept length. It also summarizes repeated caption, aspect and layout choices as suggested production defaults. It is an inspectable example-similarity model; it does not understand every nuance of pacing, automatically fine-tune a large language model, or predict views.

Peak Score stays a general editorial assessment. Taste fit is separate: explicit topics and the active learned version influence discovery ranking, and personal preferences influence your review ordering and editor defaults. The explanation identifies matching topics or reviewed-example words.

Review, pause or replace a style

In Shared editorial style, choose a workspace, show or personal scope. Administrators manage shared styles; editors can manage their own. Saved styles are included on paid plans. Explicit topics guide ranking immediately. The written brief explains intent to collaborators.

A proposal needs eight distinct reviewed moments, including four kept or manually chosen. Compare its terms, typical length and before/after example fit before activating it. Shared-style proposals refresh at the start of new selection runs when evidence changes; personal proposals use the Review a new suggestion button.

When there are at least five source episodes, Peakframe can check a proposal against later episodes that were not used to fit it. The check uses the original suggestion, before an editor repairs it. The page shows sample size, error and kept clips among the first three reviewed suggestions in the original versus proposed order. Unreviewed suggestions have unknown outcomes, so this is not an online keep rate. Automatic adaptation also needs improvement across at least three held-out source episodes, with a positive 95% episode-bootstrap interval. Smaller samples remain suggestions for manual review. These checks do not establish general superiority or guarantee improvement on the next episode.

Pause keeps your active style but stops recording new choices as learning evidence. Start learning afresh clears the learned version and excludes earlier evidence from proposals. You can exclude specific episodes or activate an earlier version. Deleting an episode also removes its private editorial history and clears derived learned versions in that workspace; explicit user-written topics remain.

Choose shorts, longer stories or both

Choose a show and length before uploading: quick shorts, 1–3 minute stories, 4–6 minute discussions, 8–10 minute deep dives, or Custom from 0:05 to 30:00. Inside an episode, Find more moments can mix presets without replacing saved clips. Format is separate from length: choose vertical, square or wide in the editor.

Share a style you can own

Download a style bundle containing selection settings, brand choices, explicit topics and the active learned configuration. Source media, private event history, member identities and logo files are excluded. Learned terms and custom phrases can still reflect your subject matter, so inspect them before sharing.

Import saves drafts. An administrator reviews and activates the selection and brand parts. Imported learned weights are marked unvalidated in the new workspace. Sharing a copy does not give its author remote control over your settings. Existing snapshot links for individual profiles remain available in Style & preferences.

Get help writing a configuration

The editorial assistant turns a plain-language request into supported length, topic, aspect and caption settings. Check the draft before saving it. It can also answer from the included help excerpts. Unsupported requests are shown for manual attention. If the configured AI provider is unavailable, basic duration and No Captions recognition still works.
